Critique Help/Questions??

Hi,

I wanted to get an input on how someone else views my shop when visited. I am getting tons of views but no sold items.

I am definitely thinking of a revamp! So everything like avatar, banner , and all will match.

Does anyone think prices are too high or pictures aren't clear enough?

Thank you , your input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Critique Help/Questions??

Hi there,
Feel free to take or leave my feedback- only you can truly know what you are wanting to do with your shop. :)
In my opinion, I think the main thing holding back your shop is that you don't have enough items listed. Especially in the very saturated jewelry market, you will need many, many items (shoot for 100, maybe) to get noticed more. I think the pictures look a little washed out, and the banner could use a touch of color so it doesn't appear blank-ish. Prices look all right to me, but you may want to solicit other opinions.
Best of luck to you and your new shop. :)

Re: Critique Help/Questions??

I can't comment on your prices as I have no idea what your costs are but your photos are very nicely done.

What may be holding you back is your shop title and announcement. Those are two very valuable pieces of real estate.

Your shop titles should outline what it is you sell. " Republixe " really doesn't do that for you at all. My shop title of ' affordable yarns, soap dishes, mannequins, wearable art' tells the customer exactly what they can find in the shop.

The same with your shop announcement. Again the first few lines of the announcement needs to discuss WHAT you are selling. If you want to offer discounts etc that's fine but move them down.

Personally I don't email the seller for a tracking number. I would expect the seller to send that information as soon as the item is shipped.

One thing to remember is that running an online shop takes a fair bit of work. You cannot simply list items and expect people to buy. Rather you have to be willing to take the time to market your shop to your target customer.

You may find that the 'critique your own shop' blog post at
etsymentors.blogspot.com/p/critique-your-own-shop.html
will be of some help in revamping your shop.

Thank you very much @Christine. I appreciate you taking the time. I definitely see what you mean, I definitely will be listing more items. Getting some more color into my banner is definitely a great idea. thank you again.

Thanks for your time and response. @crochetgal. I definitely see what you say about the announcement. I am definitely working on bettering the shop title announcement and listing descriptions. Thank you for the link , I will be going over it now. Thanks again.
