Creating a Coupon

I have created a coupon for my shop. I thought it would appear on my shop page but it didn't. I put it in the offer space myself. Is that how you do it?

People alert their customers of coupons a number of ways. Here's how I do it:

1. I have a special coupon for my instagram followers. So I only list that coupon on Instagram (in both the bio and actual picture).
2. I have free shipping on orders over $50. I have it in my shop announcement (I think I did put it there. . . ) and in the actual item descriptions. I also put this on Twitter and Facebook.
3. If I have any other coupons, I do put it out there on social media. You can also put coupons in your shop announcment.
4. I have a special "Thank You" coupon. You can have this go out automatically when someone buys from your shop.

I have a coupon that's in the first couple lines of my Shop Announcement (so it'll show up without them having to hit "More" or anything.) Not everybody sees it - but some people do, and use it.

I created a paper coupon and print it out to include with every sale package I send out. This is a little "gift" to my buyer and an incentive to have them shop from me again. To be honest - I haven't had a single buyer use the coupon on a repeat sale.

Put the coupon in your shop announcement. I always look there as a customer first.
