It would be so fabulous if coupon codes could be created for specific dollar amounts, —that way gift certificates that result in orders would be automatically deducted!
Admin, if you see this post could you please consider adding this feature for the holidays?
People have been suggesting this for a long time, and I hope they do it. It would make gift certificates easier and possible for more of us to do, as people already sell them, but it's a lot of work on the seller's part to keep track of them. Best to find a thread in the "suggestions" forum and add your support to it. There's bound to be one, especially with the holidays coming up. People might be more willing to buy them in the holidays rather than a specific piece.
I would love to have more advanced coupon code functionality, this and other functions, such as a discount only after a certain $$ amount is reached, or off multiple items purchased together (e.g save 10% when you buy 2, 20% when you buy 3, etc.)
