Could I beat it in January alone?

Last year was a very inactive year for my Etsy shop, I really didn't spend much time trying to improve. So far this year (one day) I've done more in my shop than I normally did during one month last year, that's awful really!

Anyway, a few weeks ago I decided to do better this year and started writing a business plan. Today I looked at my stats for the entire 2012.

Favorites: 314
Orders: 3
Revenue: $36.75

Would you say it's possible for me to "beat" these numbers from 2012 in January alone? What would it take for me to do so? I've started looking at tags and titles, not sure I get it entirely, I've also joined a "list one item each day"-challenge and will therefore create and list things every day this month. What else could I do? I know my guardian angel photos needs improving but I'm actually considering taking them down completely. Any thoughts on that?

well i have to be happy with what i achieved last year because i oly started with my etsy shop in august but i´m motivated to do better this year so i just spend 2 hours working on my tags and editing some photos *pat on my shoulder*
if you work hard it is of your possible to beat the sales from last year in Januar already. good luck to you and a lot of sales!

I love the guardian angels! I would wait to see how they go with all your hard work before you take them down.

Linda, thank you for the advice on the team, I will definatley check it out and see if I can get some help. I've been updating many of my new items with new titles and tags but still people tell me to update more so I guess I'm just not doing it correctly :P
I will probably try and keep my angels for a month more and update my photos a lot. My photos of my angels are not even close to as good as they could be, they need a ton of improving, I'm aware :)
Glad to hear you like the angels, I love them myself and really believe they have potential if I do it the right way.

If I'm gonna beat my year goal in only one month it means I'll have to get:
- 97 views/day
- 11 favorites/day
- 0,1 sale/day

That's gonna be crazy tough! So far today I have 66 views but hopefully everything will increase since I plan on listing at least one item each day.

Thanks for believing in me Steph :) I look forward to waking up tomorrow and keep working on my shop. It's almost midnight here so I better get some sleep. I am in the right mindset and I believe in myself and what I can do with this ship. I personally believe it's got potential. Also it's a lot of fun to see what I can manage if I want to :)

So glad to hear you like the angels, I think I should give them a fair shot and take some new pictures to give them justice.

You know, I believe determination is half the battle and I believe you have that. Combined with the great people and advice you receive from this team and lots of hard work and effort I believe you can be successful.

Thanks Natasha, I believe so too! I hope I'll keep this determination all the way through. Day one this year I decided to try to be very active in teams, etc which gave me lots of views, however very few likes, so I need to work on my products. If people visit my shop without liking my items I figure I need to improve, fill the shop with more items and just enjoy every minute of it :)
