My shop was started to sell only sewing patterns designed by others. I wanted the shop name to include the word pattern and my sister's name is Patti, so I just named it Pattern Patti. I had no idea that it would grow into a shop that sells my original patterns or that I'd end up in print and selling in local quilt shops and through distributors. Since my name is not Patti, it's caused confusion. I also feel like the name does not embody my style or express the purpose of the patterns. I'm not asking for name ideas, just advise on whether it's too late to change it. I'm only with one distributor, in 7 local shops & have not legally registered with the state or have any bank accounts in the business name. I don't even have business cards because I'm so unsure of the name. Thoughts?
