I got a message from the author of one of the quotes I carve. He said this about the journal I put it on "... I just wanted to say, this charms me very much."

I'm not sure if I can say who the author is. Not many of those I quote are alive, but it was great to get this note!

Anyone else ever get contacted by the source of inspiration?

That is one of the best compliments you will every receive. Congratulations! It must make you feel really proud that the author liked your items enough to be pleased that it was included on one of your items.

Wow that's great! The source of inspiration behind all of my products are my cats... and they contact me all the time, by coming up to me and meowing, even helping out during my creative/sewing process :) Very cool though, good for you!
