Changing shop sections help

I recently learned we are allowed only 10 sections. I want to add a new section with a new line. I will want to do this again sometime but will have no new sections left.
How do we remove an item from a section and list it in a new section.

I went into "edit" and found out I cannot just name a new section and presto the item is switched. Too bad.

1. So how is it done?
2. What happens to the section once it is empty? Can it be deleted or renamed? Something tells me the answer is NO.

Also, I realize I will have to change any links in the description referring to sections if I switch sections on an item.

Thank you for any help you can give.

Click on info and appearance in your account. The next folder tab is sections. You can make any changes you would like in there.

Re: Changing shop sections help

I just learned how to do this the other day- at the top of the screen scroll over 'your account" click on 'info and appearance' click the 'sections' tab. From there you can rename, add, or delete sections- and it shows all your items and what section they are in so you can move them if you need to.
