If you can take a moment to look at my shop, photos, quality of items, relevency and prices for me it'd be really appreciated. Do you think my jewelry is priced fairly? I recently changed the prices and need some feedback.
Hi Tarren, I like you banner and your art. One thing I did notice is that the photos of you jewelry are not closeups. Maybe it would help to see just the pendant in the thumbnail? I don't sell jewelry. this is just from a buyer perspective. I'm more like to click on a closeup detail shot than something that shows also the chain.
That's very good to know, that you feel more likely to click on a detailed up close shot of the focal point than a full photo. Thank you! I have a horrible camera right now, it is SO hard for me to photograph jewlery. I just made a big sale though and should be able to buy a new camera soon.
Do you know how to use Gimp? It's a free photo editing program you can download from the web. You can "cut" a closeup from your existing pictures with that program and re-size it to fit Etsy's recommended size limits.
There is a learning curve, but it has an online tutorial which is user friendly. It think it'll save you from having to rephotograph many of your items.
I have never heard of gimp but thank you for the advice, it really helps. My shop has only been running for a few months now... Also I had no idea etsy had reccomended size limits. Thanks a lot!
How does anyone feel about the prices of my jewelry specifically? Too low/high or do you think it's reasonable?
