Can you do a partial refund?

Hi!

I have the same customer who bought a couple of items but they've done it as two separate orders. I want to refund postage on one. (normally they wouldn't have paid postage twice if it was one order)

It's DC, with paypal I could easily do it but I don't know how I can refund just the postage via direct checkout...

They haven't requested this or anything but it seems the right thing to do....

Go to your shop payment account, under the transaction is says "issue refund"

You can just refund the postage - I have done that before. It's super easy - there are several options - just click on "issue refund" like Katie said above.

I issue partial refunds often for excess shipping charges (I use Priority Mail which charges different amounts based on buyers location) so its very easy to select the issue refund, then put in the amount that you are refunding. You will see the whole payment transaction before you officially give out a refund, and in my case I always mark my refund in the shipping section. But once you make the refund, its gone...so be sure you are correct first.
