Can't upload photo in listing page

I clicked add photo and nothing happen. Do I have to install any program to support this function???

I'm having problems too. It's the new listing format and I lost a listing when I clicked on the preview button. Then I did the listing again and when I clicked to add a photo I got the "Oh dear. There was a problem.
We had a problem uploading your photo. Please give it another shot." message. I've tried more than a dozen times. My pics are 600 x 800 jpegs so they should work.

When you encounter listing issues, photo uploading issues etc. it is very smart to check the forums section under "bugs"! There you can read if there is a current Etsy issue or if it is an isolated issue!
