300. I can't even believe it. I listed my first item at the end of January, and I would have been happy if I sold 30 items by now. Here's what I've learned so far:
1. Use this team and the forums to learn as much as you can, and take advice given.
2. Take photos with plain backgrounds so people can see your items in a search.
3. Titles and Keywords are extremely important if you want to get found.
4. Keep adding new items to you shop, even if it's just once a week or once a month. Keeping it fresh will bring in more and more customers, and keep you from burning out.
5. Provide great customer service.
6. Offer a variety - for me, March is iPad Case season (thank you Apple for coming out with a new version almost every year), Spring/Summer is wedding clutch season, Summer/Fall is beach bag/school bag season, and now is iPhone case season (thanks, again, Apple!). I never have much of a slump, because there's a variety. I can't wait to see what will be popular over the Christmas season, as this will be my first Etsy Christmas.
Anyway, this is all pretty obvious, but thought that some newer folks might benefit. This team has been such a huge support to me and my shop. You should have seen how awful it was when I first started selling stuff in January. It's so much better thanks to you guys! Thanks!
