In my inbox there was a convo that said this:

I did NOT click the link and there is no person on Etsy with that name. It looks like they are on Etsy from the convo though. Their name "wwtoooooo" is highlighted but they have no icon picture. Not sure what it is but sending this info on in case....

i got one two a couple of days ago. My was from a different user name started with an a . I deleted the convo but would love toknow what is up.

I got the same message. Funny thing is, when you point to the link, it looked like it would take you to Google. I didn't click it though. Strange.

Spam. Got several in a row the other day. Delete, delete, delete.

I got 3 messages the other day. They came from abababa, blablaba, and something else. I figures they were spam of some kind so I just deleted them. I was surprised to see this on my convo page. Wonder what was going on?

Me too - I had three odd looking messages all relating to Google. I didn't click on the links either.

I also had a strange one this morning with a name that was a series of vowels. It was offering downloads - I didn't even open it, just deleted it. My advice is never to open anything that looks remotely suspicious. In all my years of emailing, I have only once deleted a legitimate email in error and we cleared that up in a few hours because the person was a colleague.

They took them off etsy already.... double checked today. They were Super Spamming.

When you get spam you should forward it to the Etsy abuse email, you can look it up under help. Any unwanted emails that have some kind of link are usually someone trying to download a key logger onto your computer and should be reported.

I got one today. It's spam, just never ever open or download anything that comes to you unexpectedly! :) I reported it to abuse at etsy...
