Can I get some advice about titles and tags?

Hi everyone - I've been on Etsy for about a year, and I'm mostly happy with how I'm doing, but I've been putting more time and effort into my shop lately. A few weeks ago I went through and tried to make over all my tags - I had a lot of one-word tags, and changed them up to include more phrases. But as I'm doing more reading, I think maybe my tags are still not great. I tried one of the Etsy relevancy search tools and the results were dismal!

Can I get some constructive criticism on my tags? Am I focusing too much on the time period for my vintage items? (For example, do I need 50s or 60s in as many of the tags as possible, or are most searches not done that way? It looks like it might be better to say "vintage hat" rather than "50s hat"?)

Thanks - this team has already been wonderfully helpful!

I would say both, "vintage hat" and "1950s hat". I wish the tags could be as long as those for treasuries giving us more room for words. Also, I try to use a phrase from the title and first two lines of the listing.
