Calling all Etsy Success members: Census

Good Day fellow members!!!!

I have decided to get a feel of each members' personalities by doing a census of what each member likes in their bath and body products they buy.

So please list your favorite bath and body scents whether they be in lotions, soaps, perfumes, lip balms, and/or candles.

Tell me if you like scented soaps, soaps that are more natural, soaps that are exfoliating, etc.

Tell me if you like floral scents, citrus scents, musky or earthy scents, apple or other fruit scents, etc.

Egyptian musk oil is my favorite scent to wear as a perfume.

I am a soap junkie lol. I love all natural soaps that exfoliate. I don't care if it doesn't have a scent as long as it moisturizes my skin and contains more natural ingredients.

I like lotions that are all natural and light smelling. My favorite scents for lotion would be eucalyptus, patchouli, frankincense and myrrh, mint, and coconut.

I like to smell fruity scented candles and such but I don't like to smell fruity.

Citrus scents almost always - clean and fresh smelling, very light scents are better. And exfoliating scrubs are good!

I like shower gel and soap. Anything that smells like food, sandalwood, patchouli and violets.

i love handmade soap (just bought some here on etsy recently) and my favourite scents are orange and lavender. additionally i also like coffee scrub soap

Hi Brittanya, I recently bought a bar soap on Etsy that was 'rose and amber' scented. Most delicious smelling soap ever! But I generally prefer shower gels and exfoliating scrubs. Nostalgic floral scents are my fave: rose, jasmine, violet, honeysuckle, etc. Adding a little spice or wood scent sometimes makes them even nicer.

Mints and eucalyptus vs spiced cranberry, ginger, bakery cinn rolls lol

not big on to much flowers, or fruits

I love lavender and goat milk soap; I am a senior and the goat milk soap helps keep my skin hydrated.

I'm a big fan of the shop LUSH so I am quite a smelly person (?)

I like citrus, clean lemony smelling scents, eucalyptus, tea tree, as well as calming lavender or jasmine scents. I mainly use citrusy smells in bath bombs, and in my candles I like spa scents. (Green tea, 'rain', ocean)

I LOVE lilac and lavendar smells, but definitely prefer more natural. I tend to get rashes on my hands if I use lotion from places like Bath and Body.

My favorite scents are natural....I love love LOVE patchouli scented things... also bar soaps with oatmeal....or honey--YUM! Same thing with candles...I love earthy smells that are calming and relaxing.

I use all natural bath and body products, especially handmade soap and roll on or solid moisturizers. My favorite scents include lemon, lime, yuzu and light floral scents - any scent like this that is light and fresh.

I hate products that smell like sweet food, such as vanilla, chocolate, pies, cookies, etc. But there must be a lot of people who like these since there are so many listings for soap with these scents.

I use body wash, body scrubs and lotion and candles from bath and body works.

I like coconut scented things for the spring/ summer - although bath and body works doesn't get theirs right for me --they're too musky. (I do love the coconut leaves candles and the tiki beach candles)

My favorite body lotion for the past year has been Trader Joe's coconut body butter. I love the scent, consistency and the fact that it doesn't make me feel greasy - deal breaker! ;)

I do like "carried away" body soap and body cream (the ticker one from bath and body works)

I typically like stronger scents in the shower and not as strong of a scent for lotion.

I do not like rose scented things.

Overall I'd say I typically like fresh things. Apple, peach, raspberries, etc. I'm a lot less picky about shower scents than lotion. I actually find it hard to find lotions I like. It's what I'm the most picky about.

I do like cinnamon/apple scents during the holiday times - but not too sweet.

I love verbena, I use to like lavender but some products with lavender are too overpowering. My children have sensitive skin so I stay away from products with too much perfume in them.

I have very sensitive skin, but in a handmade soap I am most drawn to citrus-y scents, almond, cucumber, and amber. I can't use fruity smells, sandalwood or patchouli - it makes my asthma worse.

In a perfume I tend to stick with light clean-smelling fragrances, typically light floral smells.

I Like soaps with mild fruity scents. I have bad allergies and couldn't take strong scents in soaps and perfumes. They make me sneeze constantly.

I love citrus and light floral scents! I enjoy shower gels. I DO NOT LIKE ANYTHING VANILLA or COFFEE scented in my bath products!!

I love a good peppermint foot cream, those are my absolute favorite! I also love jasmine and patchouli scents for perfume. For soaps and candles, I prefer spiced scents, the types you would find in autumn - pumpkin, cinnamon, clove and orange, etc.
