Busy Bee Mondays.

After deciding to play hooky from my college classes today and hoping for a relaxing day filled with naps and home roasted coffee, I find myself actually being busy with the shop!

So far I've already run to the post office with two orders and three more just came in! But it is absolutely wonderful in a way--even though I have to be a little busy bee with packaging instead of snuggling with my beagle under a few layers of blankets.

Anyone else finding that their Monday is filling up pretty quickly with work that has to be done?

We're snowed in, but I have a pile of half-done hand sewing that needs to stop cluttering up my desk.

Yes! In my case, it's because I was busy this weekend trading with people, but also because I'm trying to introduce new photo items to my store and I'm planning a thorough stationery store raid, among other things. I have prints to order, prints to pick up (at different times), iPhone cases to look into, double-sided tape and Kraft paper to buy, cardstock to look for, tripods and remotes to look into as well, a library person to talk to about displaying my photography there... It's going to be an actually busy week! Hopefully that will keep me from fretting about sales too much. :) But if some did come in, I do have some momentum going. That would be pretty great.

I was going to have a relaxing evening at home but could not resist the call of my shop and I have listed 2 more items.
I call Etsy my pleasant adddiction.... :-)

I am at my day job, but my new computer got delivered today at my apartment, I got a sale (luckily a ready-to-ship item, so that will go out tomorrow) and I am working on an order for a wedding. Whew! Luckily I took Friday off to finish the order. And I have 2 jackets that need to be blinged.

Like I said, glad my sale today is ready-to-ship.

I'm hoping to be busy later in the day as my supply order is due to arrive. That always takes at least 3 hours to unpack and many more hours to get the photos done and loaded.

My partner just left for the post office with 4 large bags of packages that need to be shipped out.

I got five new listings up and am packaging things for a craft show. Hubby took three orders to the PO today.

This morning I worked on a custom listing of 120 tags for an April wedding. That's a lot of die cutting! I still have to add the finishing touches to those 120 tags before I ship them out.

While waiting for my die cut machine to do its thing I did a little browsing on Etsy. I found a cute shop that had the perfect little mini heart stickers to add to my packaging supplies. :)

Made my orders from the weekend and took them to the PO this morning. Now I am ready for the next orders. Working on the shop and pictures and new designs and organizing........... well.... that is an everyday thing.
