Bulk Ordering Discounts

I'm starting to get some bulk orders of 10 items or more and I wanted to start offering a discount to those who order in bulk. The only problem is I'm not sure how much to take off.

Do you have discounts for bulk ordering? If you do, what is your strategy or percentage you give for that?

I don't want to give too much off so I still make good profits but I don't want to be stingy either. Any suggestions?

Re: Bulk Ordering Discounts

If it's a wholesale order, I have certain minimums, and they get a 30% discount. If it's a regular customer, maybe 10 or 15%? I think that's fair.

Re: Bulk Ordering Discounts

If you follow the pricing formula as described in most of the Online Labs, your wholesale, or bulk, pricing should be about half of your retail. Now, obviously this doesn't translate in every shop. It depends on your profit margin. I personally think a discount is only a discount if it's 20% or more. If you can do more than that without stealing from yourself, I'm sure the customer would appreciate it! If not, I think 20% is the perfect discount amount, especially on bulk orders that aren't priced at wholesale.

Sorry for rambling, but I hope I could help!
