Boxes for Shipping Tumblers

Hi,

I am looking for boxes in which to ship tumblers and ornaments. I am holding up on launching my shop until I have the shipping side all set up. I was wondering if anyone knew a decent place to order boxes from that are good quality and aren't over the top priced. Any advice and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I live in North America if that might throw some suggestions out or what not.

Uline has excellent boxes, often has sales and ships by UPS. Most of the boxes I use (Priority Mail) are supplied by USPS at no cost.

I urge you not to wait as the only way to find out what works and what needs to be changed it by trying. The idea of "perfection" is a procrastinator's tool.

Start today and a years later whatever you do will improve, and ten years after than more so. Start tomorrow and you're a day behind.

After 22 years I recently refined my packing to use 1/2 the bubble wrap I previously used and that offers the same level of protection.

I also buy boxes from Uline, but only for unusual sizes (think 24 x24 x 6 for vintage bread boards). Shipping boxes is rather expensive.

I use flat rate USPS boxes generally when heavy items travel a far distance, otherwise I often use USPS Priority Mail in various sizes (order online for free if your post office doesn't carry them all). Also order free USPS Priority Mail long stickers to cut down on your packing tape use.

Finally, I recycle boxes if they are in good condition (Amazon and other sturdy boxes). With over 950 sales I've never had a customer complain about my use of recycled boxes. In a pinch, I've bought boxes at Staples.
