Best way to get views?

I have recently been studying my stats and views are obviously very important. It seems that the days I am very active in promoting in teams, I have the most views. I am not sure if these are what give me sales though. What do you do that gets you the MOST views?

You want your item titles to start with the most important keywords.

So, instead of
'READY TO SHIP Turquoise Beaded Wrap Bracelet, Sterling Silver Beaded Bracelet, Live What You Love Bracelet- Jewelry by Leandra',
(Your most important keyword, bracelet, is your 7th word.)
you want to use something like:
'Wrap Bracelet, Beaded Bracelet, Ready to Ship, <etc.>'.

Take off "Ready to Ship" as first words in title...people generally do not search for that...use some of your tag words (which are good!) instead

Yep, I'm with Janet, just loose the 'ready to ship'.
Everything in my shop is ready to ship, but I don't mention that it my item titles or tags, since it is obvious.

What if my ready to ship items though are just like duplicates to my other listings. Let me explain...the bracelets that start with READY TO SHIP, I also have another listing for that does not include READY TO SHIP AT THE FRONT. I have done this because 99% of my items are not ready to ship. They are custom made (size, color, personalization, etc). I recently made a new section in my shop called Ready to Ship for the items that I have in stock and will ship out the same day in that particular size and color. Should I still put ready to ship somewhere else in the title?

Personally I think you should have 1 listing for each item and not worry about having a listing for ready to ship and one for not ready to ship. They are the same price, same bracelet, only difference is the buyer may get the first one quicker. What I would do is list only the ready to ship one (without putting ready to ship in the title or tags) and just say that it is ready to ship in the description, then when it sells post the same listing again, but change the description slightly to explain how long a wait the buyer can expect. There is no benefit to the buyer being able to buy the non-ready to ship item before the ready to ship item so why have them both listed? Sell the ready to ship first, then do listings for the non-readies after that.

Thanks Rachel. There is a benefit to the buyer being able to buy the non-ready to ship item before the ready to ship item. The ready to ship is one size. The non- ready to ship item can be customized. The buyer can choose black waxed linen instead of dark brown, or light brown. The buyer can also choose a larger or smaller size depending on who it is for. I have some bracelets that customers want 8 1/2" and some who want 5 1/2" for a small girl. My ready to ship items are mostly the 7" average size. Do you see what I am saying? Kinda?...Haha

Leandra, I did the same thing as you when I first opened my Etsy shop. I thought that I needed to let customers know that the item isn't made yet. But I found that I wasn't getting seen because people weren't looking for "Custom made blah blah blah". So I changed my listings and I am getting more hits. The tags help too. Start your listing with what the item actually is and then in your description you can say that it can be made custom or encourage people to contact you to "design their own one of a kind piece." That seems to be more of my business than the ready to ship pieces.
