Best way to Run a Sale ?

Some one suggest I use Etsy on Sale guess it's an outside app but when I looked in questions i see that you can't use it if you have variation.What would be the best way to run a sale if your site is set up with variation ???

If you are using any of the variations the only way that I'm aware of running a sale is to change the prices manually or use a coupon code.

What variations are you thinking of? Just curious because I am currently using Etsy on Sale for a Christmas in July event, and it is working fine. I have listing variations (slipper sizes) on each of my listings. Is there another kind of variation you guys are talking about.?

Jay On your Variations you only have sizes but the price stay's the same on my art prints the price changes between a small print and a large print i guess thats where the problem is
