Best times to post?

Hi Everyone! What have people found the best times of day to post new items?

Obviously weekends are best, but times?

I've found my best times to post are during the week days at 11:00 am. Why I don't know, but I get way more traffic at that time. Also 1pm - 4pm is good on week days.

If you use google analytics for your shop you can see how many people look at your page and at what time.

Me too I try all different times. Tries to use GA but I check my shop so much that I think I messed up the counting lol.

The majority of people buy from my shop between 3:00am and 10:00am (Etsy time). But I rarely list any items during that time.

I've found that its not a matter of the best time to list new items, but rather how you are marketing your work.

And the majority of my sales are NOT of my most recently listed items either!

I've found that by having titles that accurately describe the item that buyers find my work very easily. I don't get too many sales from people who are just browsing on Etsy. Rather the majority of my sales are from people who find me from outside Etsy.

That's a good point, my sales are never my most recently listed items either. :)

I usually post when I have the time. Most of my sales come on the weekends or after moms put their kids to bed.

I will give the 11am thing a whirl because I am curious now. I usually renew around that time.

Hey, faylynn123. You can exclude yourself from Google Analytics tracking by excluding your IP address. I have both my home and work IP addresses excluded for this reason. Isn't weekend a bad time to list? I find less traffic during weekends but sometimes Sunday evenings are good.
