I have found that the evenings during the week are good and mid-afternoon on Saturday seems like a good time as well. Although I think it becomes less relevant now with the relevancy change and no more pouncing.
And, yes, evenings, starting at 8 pm Atlantic, seems to be the magic hour (I try to list at different times of the day whenever possible, you never know whose eye you might catch)
I stopped re listing pretty soon after I opened because I couldn't afford it and with relevancy it began to seem unecessary. Also bearing in mind that pin pointing a best time seemed impossible considering Etsy is international and everyone is at a different time zone. When do people shop? Are they working? Are they bathing the baby? etc etc etc I just stopped trying to second guess! lol : )
lol Maya! yes, you are right. it is less relevant to list now that relevancy has taken over. have really good tags, titles and description . I relist only when the item is sold :)
So true I had such a hard time choosing when to relist which is why I always nap instead of sleep n had to set alarm hourly just to relist my stuff.. Today I just gave up the idea because its hard to mantain.. Like for eg now is actually 3am in my area but could be noon in US... Btw can any kind soul tell me what's the feature pounce that you guys are talking about?
I only relist when the item has sold and I want it back in the shop. For me, that's whenever I'm processing the sale.
If you are asking about renewing (paying an additional $.20 to update the listing date on the item) I allow myself about $5 per month for that, except for items that are about to expire.
Etsy gets enough of my money as it is.
The majority of the items purchased from my shop are not the most recently listed items.
