Best Shipping Scale

I am looking for suggestions on shipping scales, I will mainly be shipping envelopes, not large packages.

Any suggestions on the most accurate and easiest to use?

I think any digital scale would be fine--many use cooking scales instead of postage scales. You can weigh a few packages, take them to the PO & get them weighed there, then compare the weights to see how accurate your scale is.

I have a Pelouze digital scale that I inherited from our office when it closed up. I have lightweight packages too, but it's a lifesaver. It runs off a 9-volt battery. I think they're a little bit pricey but you can get one from any office supply store (I see them at Office Depot). If you start to ship heavier items, it will help you out tremendously. :)

I have a small DYMO scale that's digital that I use that's great. It measures up to 10 lbs and has a hold button in case you can't see the display when you have the package on the scale. I picked it up for about $25.

if you're shipping small packages under 13oz a food digital scale will suffice. I purchased a postage scale from ebay for under $30 and it works great.

If your food scale accurately weighs items over 13 oz, it'll be fine for heavier packages too. It's all about accurate weighing, not what the implicated use of the scale is.
