Beautiful Day! What are you going to do on Sunday?

It is such a GORGEOUS day in western Wisconsin today. So moderate--75 degrees and low humidity. A welcome respite from the weeks and weeks of scorching humidity. :-) So I am going to combine business with pleasure today by first sitting on my deck with my laptop and a cup of "joe." Next...throw open the windows to my pottery studio and give my pottery and pendants a good glazing. Let my crazy dog run in and out of the studio. Ohhhh....I love being an artisan!!!!

How about you--what are you'all doing today?

Hottest day of the year here in Vancouver! We're not used to this. Going to bath my poor Pekingese and let her air dry to cool her down. Taking some pics and doing a listing and then probably throw something on the BBQ for dinner! Summer is great! Have a good one everybody! XO

Sounds wonderful ~ I couldn't agree more...being an artisan is the BEST! I am rearranging my studio, and adding more storage (if I sold more, I wouldn't need so much extra storage) :-) I too, am just enjoying the beautiful day.

It's supposed to be the hottest it's been all summer here so no throwing open the windows for me. We've got everything closed up to try and keep it cool.

I'll be poking forlornly at my shop, hoping to get some activity, but for the most part I've got other stuff to keep myself occupied - a little of language studying that I've been slacking on, some cooking prep to take care of, and maybe I'll get in a game or two while I'm in the mood.

It's finally raining here in Ohio. Maybe it will cool things off a bit.

Just trying to get a bit of house cleaning done...and popping on etsy occasionally to see if anything is going on (seems like a slow day, to me, anyway). I need to take a few new pictures, prepare an order to ship tomorrow and list a few new things.

Also trying to figure out what to make for dinner to welcome my teenager home from lacrosse camp later this afternoon!

I'd be out of my mind if I went outside today, it's about 90 degrees and there is a thunderstorm passing through as I type. Yeah not fun.

I'm thinking all I can do is sit inside, waiting for it to cool down (the AC hasn't been working right) and trying to sell SOMETHING today...

Agreed with Amy! It started out nice here (but HOT), and then thunderstorms for a bunch of hours in the afternoon. I sat inside and: crossed off a couple lists I had going (and threw them out!), did the laundry, bought a domain name, found a website building site to use, and read up a bunch on how to set that up. Oh, and packaged up a toy that is being shipped tomorrow morning!

Didn't sew anything today (that will be next weekend), but I feel like I got a lot of administrative/paperwork stuff done for the shop. The nitty gritty stuff it's so easy to push aside:)

Whew! 5 1/2 hours of taking pictures, editing all of my listings, and adding a couple (with about 10 more to go!) It's been a busy Sunday. Hopefully it will be worth it!

Putting in a word for those of us 'downunder' as it's mid winter here. Having said that living in the sunshine state has it's advantages. After a chilly 5 degrees this morning it's now a gorgeous sunny 21 degrees.

Plans for today include teaching myself some new lampwork techniques. Always a bit of a challenge, but very rewarding when the glass eventually does what it's supposed to!

its 97 today in Missouri, probably one of the most coolest days we've had so far! but I did a little shopping earlier since its the no tax weekend here!
