Banner?

Do you think its time for me to get a new banner?

Any suggestions if so.
Ive been looking at it all day and I think Im bored of it.

You could, if you really wanted. Maybe some shots of your products. Your pictures are really pretty. You could put a bunch together, arrange them nicely, and then use that.

The banner is already a picture of one of my lotions up close.

It's gorgeous. It sets the tone of your shop's brand so well. You may try a similar treatment in another color. For example, pink for valentine's day but I personally love it.

I agree with VaLon, a series of product shots would be nice, maybe even dull out the lotion banner (as a background) and add some more products that aren't close up shots on top! I guess personally I look at your current banner and think of whipped topping on an espresso and not lotion, but it still works.

I like you current banner but...

Your items in your shop are so colorful and your banner is very pale. Maybe add some more color to grab the eye.

If you are bored with it then yes.
It is a very nice banner however your the person selling your products and if you are no longer impressed by your shop how are you going to sell with enthusiasm? Get a new banner if only for your own excitement, even though we are selling online customers can sense how passionate you are about your product and your shop and if a new banner is going to add a new luster to your shop for you then do it!

I agree adding some colour would be good. I'd also change the font to match your products so you have consistent branding :)

Hmm, I do like it, but the text needs to change. I like to have a rotation of banners/avis though, so I don't get bored with my store's look.

Some people prefer to stay consistent. It's really up to you. I make banners, so not to TVP all over this thread, if you need some help, or just free advice, send me a convo. :-)

I do like your banner, but I agree with other comments that it needs more color. I like that you use the same font for your banner as you do on your labels (it goes a long way in terms of brand recognition), but I would drop the italics. Design-wise, italicized font often looks unnecessary and even gives a bit of hesitancy to your banner.

Your shop is so nice!

I suggest you use some of your colorful items (absinthe soap, etc) and arrange them on your banner. (I couldn't tell the current banner had cream--I thought it was a twirl of silk with some sort of powder on it...)

It looks like Im just going to have to buy one - Im terrible at graphic art. :(

Been trying to make something all morning and everything looks terrible!
