Backlinks! They do work.

After years of not doing much, I've decided to work on my shop and make this a real business. Almost like starting from scratch. A few days ago I re-organized my shop with better sections and put backlinks in on every item. I've seen traffic increase by 50 to 100% already, and I'm getting more incoming search hits than ever before. It's nice to see an easy idea that works out. Now, on to the harder ideas....

What do you mean in back links ,do i have to maje links between my prouducts or to have a link from other site's ?

Shoot! His shop is taking a break and I really wanted to see his backlink example. I'm not so sure this post is relevant anymore tho since it was started in 2012. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else currently has seen an increase in traffic just from adding backlinks. I added them to most of my listings and haven't really noticed much change.
