Taking pictures it's hard, just plain hard...but taking pictures of your own, say your hand, it's a lot harder! I was laughing out loud the other day as I contorted myself into a very weird position so I could take some shots of a ring on my hand. Is this just me or does this happen to someone else???

I would appreciate any tips that you would like to share and any equipment useful for this purpose.

Happy Monday everyone!!!

Re: Are you your own model?

Plus, I want customer's to themselves in my work. I wonder if people get a preconceived notion that THEY will look like that in the crocheted beanie hat?

Even at the stores, the mannequin's are non-subjective, vague and plastic. Also, I guess for me..........I don't want to purchase something Indie and know someone already wore it.

Re: Are you your own model?

Well, I'm sure glad I'm not alone in the contortion department...LOL!

I took a peek at all you guy's shops and you all do a great job! I unfortunately don't have that many people around that I can ask to model, so I better refresh my yoga moves so as not get hurt. ;)
