Are you waiting to list new items until Friday?

When are YOU listing new items? Now? Thanksgiving day? Black Friday? Cyber Monday? All of the above?

It's so tricky when you are going to be out of town too! I have so many draft listings ready to list throughout the weekend but wondering when the best times might be? Anyone have any suggestions?

Just list it as you have time, and ship Monday, or Tuesday

Oh definitely, I will be shipping everything Monday morning! I'm not so worried about that, just trying to decide when to list. I have all the draft listings ready to go, so I can add them on my phone at any time :)

Just wondering if I should hold off on some for later in the week/early next week! I have no idea what to expect this year.

I say if you've got them, list them. You don't say how many you have so just spread them out over the weekend. People will be busy tomorrow so you may not get a lot of U.S. views, but you never know.

I wanted to get a card set made and listed tonight and I blew it off in favor of crashing on the couch to watch Survivor and Criminal Minds. Sometimes you've got to take a break from Etsy. After my shows were over I got my shop ready for a weekend coupon promotion.

I listed everything I had. I got sales starting Thanksgiving after dinner last year. If it isn't listed people can't buy it.

Nobody in their right mind expects you to ship in the middle of a holiday weekend. Are the post offices even open on Friday? I'd go ahead and list them on Friday, even if you're away, as long as you know you can ship the sold items on Monday or, at the latest, Tuesday.

I list my stuff as soon as it's done. I got about 4 things up this week and then I have a couple more I need to finish up and hopefully get listed by the end of the month...

Wanda, Friday is a regular business day. Post offices and banks are open like usual.

Black Friday is just a retail promotional event.

I put my Black Friday coupon code up last night, stricktly for convenience. I even made a sale last night, and the buyer didn't even use the coupon code offerred (perhaps she thought it wouldn't work until Friday?)

Maybe it's just me, but I think you might be overthinking the situation. Just list them as you have time. If the SEO is done correctly they will be seen. And if your turnaround time is clearly stated you won't be expected to ship during the holidays.
