Yesterday was so far my best day for stats.

170 views. 85 favourites and 2 orders.

I decided to look at the same day, last year.

23 views. 0 favourites and 0 orders.

Wow! I am so happy that I am improving!

What was your stats yesterday and have you improved from the same date last year?

Feedbacks - 1 BIG FAT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK , 2 Positive ones =)

Last year - I was doing something else other than Etsy.

I try to ignore my stats honestly. It gets too depressing. I only tend to average 20-30 views a day. Not sure what it is up with that. My titles, tags, etc. are all pretty good according to when I ask others to check them out. So it is just slow for me right now. I just keep plugging away. :)

I'm with you on that one Julie, haven't had any sales yet and aside from trying to improve my tags etc, constantly checking my stats is definitely not doing me any good! haha

People find me, they're just not buying. That's what I need to figure out. I don't know ...maybe they just don't like my items. Or maybe they're overpriced. I think my chainmaille items are underpriced actually.

I feel like that too Nez. Even when I get views, no one's buying. My stuff is now in a B&M store (doesn't open until 5/1). Hoping that kicks things up a bit for me. I also know I need to get working on a few new items. This season of life has not been great for creating new items for me. Abby is an awful teether and she does so for like 2-3 weeks. So by the time nap time comes around, I don't want to work. I want to rest. :)

Yesterday there were 157 views with 14 favorites. Luckily my sales have been improving greatly this month. I plan on taking better pictures and to keep promoting to keep it up!

Man, I think I'm stagnant. It seems like a day is going to explode with views, and then it kind of fizzles. Sales are still trickling in though. Who knows, I just cannot wait to get new listings up and get some more traction!!

I had a chuckle when I looked back for just this one day.

Last year: 116 views, 4 sales
Yesterday: 108 views, 2 sales

Makes you think I'm not doing quite as well this year, doesn't it? But that's not the case. I've significantly increased my sales (and revenue) this year, compared to the same time period last year (and I'm charging higher prices now). But I have quite a few more items listed this year, which helps.

I was doing great last month but after the changes in searches I was being dragged under. I was able to compensate by starting up search ads, BUT since I'm newer and smaller, not well-known, I can only do that so long if the search ads don't give me more income than they're taking.

Got some great critique this week through this site and I know what I need to improve.
Making twice as much this year as last year with twice as many views.
Noticing that the number of views has nothing to do with the amount of sales.
Posting higher end items lately and getting higher ticket sales, so bottom line is, sales going up.
And I've gotten over 100 views before receiving one sale AND over only 16 views before receiving a sale.
Unless you know how to measure them, don't look at the stats.
It's like Han Solo said in Star Wars: "Never tell me the odds!"

I do think my views have gone up drastically when I breeched the 100 item mark. Only because people find me more.

Sales, well I have only had 40 since I started. Not complaining, but would like way more!

Your items are adorable though . I wish I can crochet. I guess it's like doing chainmaille , but instead of using yarns I use wires instead.

Last year April I had 943 views - 190 favourites - 3 sales
This year April (so far=) I have 6352 views - 666 favoruites - 39 orders..

I must have done somethng right.. :)))
