Are you a fan of your shops Request Custom Order button?

I recently put the custom order button on my shop, so far I am not a fan. Two people have clicked on it asked questions and I was able to accommodate them but then went away ?
I never had the request custom order button in the past it was Contact shop owner and usually they would convo me, we'd have a nice conversation with what they wanted. Once we were set I would put up a listing and send it to them they would purchase. So I would like to go back to how my shop was set up before - Am I able to remove the Request custom order button? Can't seem to find out how I put it there in the first place ; )
Just wondering if anyone else has had issues like this it seems that it isn't working for me. I want to go back to the old setup.

You can turn off "Custom Order Requests" by going to your "Shop Settings", then "Options". You can then choose the radio button to disable the custom requests.

The "Custom Order Requests" have been working really well for me in both of my shops. I think it's brought in sales for me. My buyers know that they can ask for changes.

However, I can see where it might not work for some shops that are OOAK, or their items are already made.

I LOVE this button! To be honest, i have never had anyone request an order directly from this button but they have convo'd me and we have discussed the details, then I turned it into a custom order. Love it. Custom orders are my absolute favorites to make (I get tired of making the same slippers over and over again:).

I know! usually people will convo me without the request a custom order button and well discuss and then I do the lisitng for them. But for some odd reason it didn't work for me two times, so I'm just going back to the Contact Seller button rather than request a custom order....I too love working with clients this way, it is really fun to get to know each other ; )
