Anyone use Etsy Rank?

I just learned about Etsy Rank (etsyrank.com) in another thread. It's supposed to help with SEO, choosing tags and titles, and growing your business...for FREE. I'm a bit hesitant to sign up for the service. There's that saying "If it sounds too good to be true..."

I'd love to hear what my fellow Etsians have to share. Have any of you used Etsy Rank? If so, have you had good results? Would you recommend Etsy Rank?

I saw the same thread and decided to try it out. We have nothing to lose since it's free. My husband who has owned his own business for 28 years said, he pays big $$$$ for something like this. I have already found some useful tips, hopefully with some changes along the way, I will start to see some results.

I'm using it now . It gives a lot of info. Takes time but it's good to adjust what they say.

just signed up, looks interesting. I like that you can just click on the listings they flagged and change the keywords directly, nice feature!

I've been using it for 2 weeks and slowly implementing changes.
Made me aware of areas I need to tweak.

I signed up and I am trying to go through each of their suggestions. Hopefully if I remember their suggestions for each of my listings in the future it will help:) Is there a site and/or app that tells us where we rank in searches? Maybe Etsy Rank does and I just haven't found it yet lol.

Just added my listings to Facebook and Pinterest. Those are one of the recommendations that I had. Has anyone else done this?

A belated, but hearty thank you to everyone who replied! Based on what you all shared, I took the plunge and registered for Etsy Rank. I'm looking forward to using it...once I figure it out.

I started using it about a week ago and have found it very helpful with choosing keywords and seeing how that affects my placement. It has been quite helpful.

I do think it has more potential than just choosing keywords, but not sure how to use all the info.

If anyone else knows how to put it to use for other things, I would be interested in learning more.

Keywords and tags so helpful so far. Been using it for a few days. I thought I could count but apparently not as I was unknowingly missing a tag ot two from several listings and it makes me correct this. Also grades each listing, so now I
am working to get straight A's! It's a challenge actually and time consuming to earn the A's but worth the effort.

Anyone that is trying out EtsyRank should also join the Etsy Rank team. Lots of useful information there that supports the Etsy Rank tool.

I personally think it's a great product and it has helped me a lot, as well as saving me a lot of time.

I've been using it for maybe 2 weeks now. I just completed rewriting my listings. I think I just finished fixing my last 4 listings that still had a couple of problems. All of my other listings are A's. There is a lot of help on writing good listing descriptions on Pinterest. I read many articles and combined the ideas to come up with a format that I'm pleased with. It's a little longer than my other format. I know not everyone reads the listing, but some do. I think it was worth my time. Your listing content does make a difference for your grade. The keyword tool also helps you get more yellow and green keywords. Just click on each of the items on the left to see what each one of them is. That's how I became familiar with each one. There is a lot of information available for free.

I have one question for anyone who can answer it. Do we have the opportunity to connect Instagram and Tumblr to Etsy. Etsyrank keeps track of SEO followers. Also, I have Twitter followers on Etsy, but Etsy rank is only listing my Pinterest followers. Does anyone know why and how I might fix this? Just though I would ask.
