Anyone having virus issues with Etsy?

Many times without issue I access my Etsy account from my cell phone. Yesterday I repeatedly got messages that the Etsy site had security certificate problems and I shouldn't use it. Recently the anti-virus software on my desktop has been notifying me of viruses, which is all very unusual. I always have the Etsy site open. In addition, when I click on something in Etsy, I'll be flipped out into something else unrelated. This has been occurring more frequently. Don't know if all of this is related so I wondered if anyone else was experiencing this as well.

No, I haven't experienced anything like that, neither on phone nor on computer....

I haven't had that problem . The only [problem I have had is a pop-up for another site similar that I finally figured out how to get rid of.

clear your cache...on your cellphone.

Yes, I am having the same issue....it says the certificate is not from a trusted source....very odd...then it clears

Yes! my cell had that message this morning, and my browser has been redirecting me for the past 20 minutes.

I didn't think this was from etsy, but I guess I was wrong.

When I had that problem on my PC, it was that someone had hacked into my router and set it to redirect to ads. I solved it by
1. Taking my PC in to have the virus removed, and
2. Calling my cable company and having them walk me through resetting my router with a security password - which I had not done before, my bad.
What they did to me is called hijacking.
You might do a search for the company name that pops up in your URL when you get ads, I will bet you find others having the same issue.

I was on yesterday and this weird beep keep popping up and then shut down my computer. Etsy was the only thing open, so maybe there is something.

I too am only experiencing this when I try to access my Etsy store on my phone. Everything else is works fine. Hmmmmm....

Yep. I'm getting the untrusted certificate warning on my phone. Only Etsy activity feed & shop stats.
Odd.
Cleared my browser history & cache. New(ish) phone too.

yup...have that too but only on my phone and only when I check on my stats. Will clear my cache and see what happens. Good luck everyone!

I get that message too when I check my stats. It's a brand new phone, so I don't think it's me or my phone.

We're looking into this and were hoping you could lend a bit more information.

*A screenshot of the error message you receive would be absolutely lovely.
* What kind of network were you using? For example, are you on your home wifi network, were you on Starbucks wifi, or were you accessing via a cellular network?
*Are you experiencing this issue on other secured sites (Paypal for example?)

If you could send this information to our Support team with 'Mobile, SSL certificate' in the subject line it'd be much appreciated.

I've also gotten this message when accessing my shop stats via my kindle fire. I've contacted the support team. Hopefully they're able to get the bug fixed soon!

I am having issues on my PC. When I click a link within Etsy, it redirects me to a search engine or ads. It's only when I use Etsy, no other sites. I have run virus scans and it finds nothing. I might try resetting my router like Cherie suggested. I am password protected though. Puzzling.
