Any countries you don`t ship orders to?

It seems that some sellers have problems sending orders to countries like Italy and Spain. The packages either got lost or delayed. What countries you don`t suggest to ship orders to? My store is set to ship worldwide but I am a bit worried since I ship with regular International Air Mails without tracking nor deliver confirmation.

I've never had a problem with either Spain or Italy, but then I live in the European Community so we don't have the need for customs internally. My advice would be to ship anywhere, but exercise caution if you get an order from countries that are unstable or a reputation for scams. Nigeria springs to mind. It all depends on the value of the order, I guess. Sometimes a tracked airmail service is outrageously more than the value of the order, that's the problem. I would cancel an order rather than ship it if I was ever that nervous!

I shipped a birthday gift to my sister in Israel from USA and it never got to her. This was the first and last time.

The only restrictions I have are based on the USPS. For example, on the customs form, it says I'm restricted to certain countries like Cuba, Sudan or North Korea, I believe.

Other than that, I welcome all international customers. I've shipped to Isreal, Turkey with no problems. I've shipped to the UK and Austrailia which was fine. I love my international customers.

I sent an order to Italy in two parcels. One was received within 3 weeks the other took 10 weeks. Thank goodness I had a patient buyer.

We are from Italy and our experience shows that Italian Post Office is quite professional and efficient, so you should not worry about Italy. Problems sometimes are due to the customs, both American or Italian.
Some delays occur shipping to Canada, as of our experience.

I think either way you decide to ship internationally, you should have a tracking number for the peace of mind (yours and your customer) :-)

Please keep in mind that if the buyer uses Paypal to purchase an item you must have delivery confirmation and insurance. Paypal completely covers the buyer in every circumstance. The buyer could have received the item but if you don't have proof of that and they are shady, the buyer can claim they never received the item. Paypal will refund 100% of the money, no questions asked.

I was burned once with a customer in Germany and I will never do it again. Be careful and protect yourself.
