Another blog question

Following on from my post yesterday (http://www.etsy.com/teams/5002/etsy-success/discuss/10063167/page/1)- I have decided to give my blog a bit of attention.

My question today is- how to you bring people to your blog? Mine is on blogger, and I am guessing the 'labels' work like tags? Also, does google search the actual title and text like it does with our item descriptions? Sorry if this sounds totally dumb! I have read loads on SEO etc, but am not sure how to transfer this across to a blog?

Aside from the SEO side of things, any other ways you have found useful for attracting followers?

All ideas welcome and much appreciated! :-)

Re: Another blog question

Ah so if you comment on other blogs, is there automatically a clickable link straight to your blog?

Re: Another blog question

Thanks Kim :-)

Chris- at the minute when I try to follow someone their blog appears in my reading list at first then disappears! So very annoying, not sure if it's me or the site?!
