Am I too expensive

I have tried to price my items including material costings and an element of time too, but my prices still seem really expensive to me. My husband says no they are not, but although I don't put much on for my time, they still seem quite high. I dont know whether to reduce the prices or not. I could really do with some input here, I am struggling.

Your prices are very reasonable for me when It comes to handmade items they are generally more expensive because you get that unique touch that someone designed it and its unique you can't buy that satisfaction from a retail store at all as most of them are made in sweat shops etc. I think your items are very beautiful and have a lovely touch and very well priced.

You have a beautiful shop, and your prices are VERY reasonable. Perhaps even a little low in some spots.
Your sales are great for just starting at the beginning of the year, so you must be doing something right!

I have no idea what market prices are supposed to be for the kind of things you make bute they seem very reasonable to me, probably a bit low even. You need to make sure that you get enough out of them so that you don't feel shortchanged, otherwise you won't be able to keep it up very long.

One thing I learnt no matter what price you put on your items if ppl like your work they will buy it. Someone who gets hooked with your creations will not give it up becaue its 5 USD too expensive... Of course if it was a mtter of doubling price that would cause some trouble but 5 USD this or the other way should not make any difference in my opinion. Its just a mtter of promotion and sticking out of the crowd:)

For handmade, i believe your price is reasonable. You should let your buyers knows the value of your handmade, add description on the process on how you created it, make it look more valuable, instead of reduce the price.

You're selling handmade children's clothes, of course the prices have to be fairly high. They're fine.

Oh thanks guys, this has sort of settled some of my doubts, and thanks poh koon for the comment, thats a really good idea, some of my items are original designs, i dont always use existing patterns but write my own, so perhaps i should say that. I think pricing is really difficult, its hard to put a value on something you make yourself. Maybe its a confidence thing, i see other peoples products and then wonder if mine are good enough. Thank you for the feedback though, it has helped settle my mind somewhat
