Am I ready now? What next....

Hello Seniors :)

Yes title may mislead or some of may think is not the right Team. That's why I called you all Seniors so that you can guide me to the right direction.

My Current Situation:
I opened my Shop on Etsy on 25 Sep. in a week I and my husband worked so hard like everyone else. And that's the reason we are able to stock our shop with some great stuff and etsy shop ready by today. We followed every guideline from Etsy Guideline, seller handbook, Teams, Community discussion, other website articles ect etc..

Now I think I am ready to do my first sell on ETSY... this is what I feel. As I said this is what "I" feel, I really want to know from others "am I ready?" or its just I feel. How will I able to measure my readiness? I do not have any one in my relation who is doing this, not a single friend on etsy who is selling, I do not have business background, I do not have mentor. There are so many things I do not have. Some times I feel very nervous and it lowers my confidence.

Have this happen to every one? What should I do now to get my first sell?

hello - firstly - welcome!
I had a quick look at your shop. Looks bright and cheerful, but...
your announcement says you have lots of different products but all you have listed is clutch bags, so the first thing is get all your products listed and into categories.

It can take quite a while to get going, so be patient, give people lots of choice, some recommend at least 100 items. Also, make sure all your shop policies are filled in too.

Frankly speaking I was thinking from seller point of view. All the things mentioned in the Announcement those I am going to add in future. But you are right if they are not there right now in shop then I should not mention. That can create confusion to buyer. I will modify it as you were thinking as a Buyer.

Your purses are so cute! The first thing that I noticed was the distraction of the your pictures. There is too much going on with the fun background and the great prints on your items. Maybe try for a more cohesive look with a simple color or just white background.

I have the same thought as Elizabeth -- the background is a bit busy. Also, if you could add a picture with a real person holding them, it should give a better idea to the buyers.
