Am I finally there with my pricing

I've recently had a few sales so hope I'm on the right track

Do you find my prices fair? I've tried to cater for every budget

After my recent sales I can see that I may need to up my prices slightly for some of my work but don't plan to do just yet

Re: Am I finally there with my pricing

The real question is: Are you happy with your prices? Do you feel you are being compensated fairly for your effort & time? Do you have enough profit to put back into your business and pay your expenses?
Those are tough questions but ones I find to be the most helpful rather than asking those who really know nothing about what goes into making your items. :)

Re: Am I finally there with my pricing

If you think you need to up your prices, then you should do it now...otherwise you're just constantly changing your prices which confuses buyers. Just find a number and stick to it. 6 months down the road if you're selling faster than you're making items, up them again. Or if you're not selling anything, take another look at your numbers. But don't keep changing them every week, it looks unprofessional to anyone who checks out your shop more than once!

Only you can answer that question... only you know the cost of your supplies, the time it takes you to design and create. When you ask those questions in a public forum you are going to get every answer under the sun... Are you happy with how you are being compensated for your work? If yes than your prices are fine.. if no than your prices aren't fair but you can't keep changing them either. You need to settle on a "fair" price and then leave it alone for at least 6 months (in my opinion)

Re: Am I finally there with my pricing

Helllooo to another Natasha :-) In honesty my prices are at the lower side with bare minimum profit to begin with.

I didn't realise this for sure until this latest order that I am very happy with by the way, although with each order they get a lovely little Red Recycled Gift Box that is wrapped in lovely ribbon that also costs quite alot but was not counted into the prices

I'm not planning to up the prices yet as would feel mean doing that even though I know my work is worth it. Just wanted to get an overall opinion from others if they were acting as potential customers

I might have to up my prices just a little in the next couple of months?

Thanks for your comments Natasha :-)

Re: Am I finally there with my pricing

Thanks everyone, I don't intend to up my prices any time soon and agree that should keep them as is for at least 6 months :-) Would you be happy to buy at that price if you were a buyer?

I think I'm more concerned that some of my work might be seen as overpriced, but you do have a point being that everyone will have a different opinion
