After Christmas Sales?

I know everyone is exhausted from the crazy jump in orders that they have had in the last weeks, but since my shop only opened in September, I wanted to ask about after Christmas sales.

Do orders still come in after Christmas because of gift money, gift cards, etc? I'd love to hear your experience of selling on Etsy after the holiday passes.

Last year, for us, January was a good month too! Hopefully This year it will be the same. We see a lull just before the 25th and a couple days after. Then it's a lovely January!

I had the same experience as Kristin--my shop stayed steady through Jan-Feb :)

I'm anxious to see how the after Christmas sales season goes this year too. Especially since this is the first year Etsy has had gift cards! Wonder if I'll receive an Etsy gift card on Christmas morning? ;) Expecting good sales to continue through Jan, hopefully for all of us!
