I've posted on CL a couple of times. The first time I got a local sale, and she actually bought 2 necklaces, so I would say it does work. I posted 4 pics and a link to my Etsy shop. I had a few views from it, but as always with CL, people don't want to pay the listed price. It seems like a garage sale LOL. I got several emails saying they were interested in a certain item, and asked if I would take X amount for it. I know times are tough, but I sell jewelry, and since it's not a necessity, I feel like if someone wants one of my items, they can pay my asking price.
I do not use CL however here in Canada we have Kijiji. It is free also, similiar to CL but much better in my opinion. I run ads all fall and winter for my dog coats, and also for dog boots that I resell. I have had GREAT success with it, in the city I live in, Toronto, and Ottawa where my daughter lives.
