Adding to an order after it's placed

I have an order and then the customer convo'd me to ask if she can add something to it. I've been searching the handbook but am not finding how (if) it's possible to do this.

Help would be much appreciated.

I don´t think that´s possible because the transaction fee would change as the price would be different.
you could set up another listing and set the shipping to 0.0 if it´s possible to ship for the same price

As Barbara said or you could also refund and make out a new listing.

Just set up a custom listing with the new stuff that the customer needs and set the shipping fee to 0 $.
It's easier that way I think so.

I have done that for customers and a couple of Etsy shops have done that for me.

Thank you all for your answers. The customer didn't wait for me and instead submitted a second order. I'll just refund her on the shipping.
