I just discovered a pretty substantial error in my bookkeeping. I don't know how I missed it, but since I opened my shop last May I've been deducting a portion of my Etsy bill from my profit in two different places, which means my profit is actually higher than I was calculating. No idea how I missed this error for so long, but now I get the pleasure of going through and recalcuating a year's worth of books and fixing my error.
It prompted me to pursue investing in accounting software, but I have no idea which one is ideal for an Etsy shop. Not looking for something that will take care of personal finances, just looking for something that will help me keep track of my Etsy numbers. I've had recommendations for Quicken, but not by anyone that operates a business.
Looking for something affordable, too, of course...
Ideas?
