Account Review Scam

I got an email the other day (just opened it today) saying it was from Etsy Review Account Department. It has a link to click to go "update your information".

I'm just passing this along because it's clearly a phishing scam and if anyone else gets one, either send a copy to abuse@etsy.com or delete it.

One of the sentences in the email is very messed up in the way it was worded, but the information, the email form, everything looked like a legit Etsy email.

I've heard a lot of ppl are getting this email! I'm assuming that all those emails can just be deleted (no need to open) bc any important info would be on our etsy accounts?

Wow. First the big banks...then the little banks... then the email/ISPs... and now ETSY? You know your company has made it into the prime times when people start sending out phishing spam in your name.

Okay, all jokes aside, I hope no one is stupid enough to (a) click on the link (b) give anyone their information.

Hopefully Admin addresses this stat.

And remember this tid-bit, etsy only contacts YOU with YOUR billing.
