Hello,
After tree month here without any sales, i think to try another place to sell my pieces of jewelry where i can find people who really appreciate handmade items. I think to join Ebay so i ask you about it.
How does it works? what's the best way to take to build a succeseful business?
will i find there audiance for my works?

Re: About Ebay

It looks like you did not make good promo here.
Same situation will be with Ebay, Amazon etc. They all need advertisement, additional payment for promo and so on.
Best way, as I think, use all possible channels for sales i.e. etsy, dawanda, ebay, amazon and all the other places.

Re: About Ebay

I find ebay is a terrible place for handmade goods. People tend to visit ebay when looking for quick cheap items, as opposed to the time consuming quality handmade goods that we all make here. I listed one of my items and after getting a fair amount of views and no bids, I decided not to post another.

Re: About Ebay

I definitely don't have enough Etsy traffic since I started my shop this year. What do some of you use to promote your shop? I have a business Facebook page but the posts don't seem to reach as many people as it used to despite having a decent number of followers. Would you suggest twitter, instagram, pinterest, etc.? What works best for you?

Re: About Ebay

Yeah, Ebay might not be the place for handmade products. People go there for cheap mass produced items.

But here are some things I noticed if you work on might help.

1. Youll need to read up on SEO.
2. Your photos are just okay. Some seem a bit off of center, or kind of out of focus. They can be more crisp and clean. You might want to play around with having them on models?
3. Look into social media. FB isn't all that great to reach your followers, unless if you pay for promotions, and even than, that doesn't always drive them into your store. I have gotten a decent following on Instagram and Twitter. Also, you might want to search out bloggers who might be interested in your type of jewlery.
4. Add more items. This will help you to get found.

Jewelry is a very saturated field here. Your pieces are different from a lot I have seen here. Hopefully if you fix a few things, things might pick up for you.
