Content, content, content. Do not go on and on and on about your shop. People will up and leave if it's all you ever mention. I too have a blog, albeit not a big one, but content has been bringing people in for me.
As long as you have a mini Etsy on your sidebar, you should be fine.
I post interviews with fellow Etsians, a monthly feature of my team members, and I also try to do some craft tutorials and free printables/downloads. I try to keep to my schedule to make sure it gets done frequently, and by creating those tutorials and printables, I'm able to add them to pinterest for more people to see, thereby expanding my audience again. Sometimes you'll need to repin things several times, though.
That's not to say you shouldn't mention your shop. My favourite blog posts about her shop. She has a schedule for each day, and one of those days is to show off her newest shop pieces. The rest she interviews, features, creates etc. And it's really enjoyable, especially since you know when she'll mention her shop. It doesn't seem as pushy that way.
Good luck!
