A Keyword stats question - thoughts welcome

Keywords....

So looking throught my stats I am trying to figure out how to use the information that is there to improve my tags and titles.

My question is..... In your stats do you have a FEW keywords that are found lots or do you have a LOT of keywords but only found a few times, and which is better?

So for example I have acrylic and perspex tagged in most of my items so they are found lots, but then for the year I have 100ish other words that have a few views. Should I keep trying to target both or put more energy in concentrating on the top 5 keywords?

Hope my question makes sense - lets see what you all think anyhow!?

I think about that too. You have 13 tags for each item. I have certain go to tags that get lots of views that I tend to stick with. I also have the ones that get a few hits but nothing outstanding, I keep some of those. The rest I usually experiment with. I look up new key words and try them out, some turn out to be no good and some turn into new go to tags.

I am new, so just take my advice into consideration. I would use the words that get hit the most in every item. Use the words that get hit the least in a couple. Hopefully you can come up with more words that get hit as much as your first couple.
