A Cancelled Order Question

Hi Team,
Unfortunately I had a customer cancel their order. I refunded, then cancelled the transaction 3 days ago. Everything looks in order, but the item remains in my Sold listings - not relisted and I don't see that Etsy refunded the .20 cent listing fee. Do I have to pay to relist? Or does it just take them several days to relist?

to clarify...does Etsy automatically relist the sold/cancelled item - or do I pay again to relist it?

Jewel,

You have to relist the item yourself. I cancelled an item in my other shop and when I relisted the item, I paid for the fee. However, Etsy refunded the fee for the original listing that got cancelled. If you had multiple items in one listing, then you just need to adjust your inventory + 1.

Additional information: I cancelled the item on May 7 and Etsy refunded the listing fee on May 11, so it takes a while.

I've noticed that Etsy has been taking a while longer to issue refunds as of late myself. You will get an email soon about the listing refund. If it was a one of a kind item and marked as 'sold out' then you do need to relist. Etsy doesn't know if you chose to not sell the item because it was damaged or something so it stays out of your shop.
