50 Items and Getting Ready For the Holidays

It has taken me over a year to finally reach 50 items in my shop, but I finally have and it's so exciting! This means I'll be stocked up pretty well for Black Friday and Christmas. I'm so hoping I'll get someone using an Etsy gift card in my shop this holiday season. I've grown so much as an Etsy seller over the past year, I'm not sure I would have known how to handle 50 listings when I had just started this shop. This is all so exciting!

How are you all getting ready for the holiday season? Will you add gift wrapping as an option? Is that a good idea? Where do you promote the most?

You need to start promoting now. I have a survey on my blog today and it is showing that 40% of buyers have already started their holiday shopping.

Congrats on getting to 50 listings. That is quite an accomplishment.

I'd suggest that you continue with your shop marketing to get the word out as many people have already started their shopping. And the television and store campaigns have already begun as well.

I start getting ready for the holiday season in July when I decide what I'm going to carry for fall. My mid August I've started listing and right now I'm just trying to keep up with the demand.

Thanks for the advice, guys! I will be promoting and adding more items daily to make sure I have enough for the holiday shoppers! I hope next year our shop will grow enough so that we can make a large profit from the holidays.

Congrats on having 50 items :) I'll be working on adding more items, and I plan on sprucing up my packages for the holidays.
