5 sales in two days and now nothing

I get 5 sales last 4th and 5th april but then nothing. I don't unsderstand what it is happening...

Sales fluctuate up and down very often. Just keep promoting and try and find a good niche for your products.

I had that happen last month, and I didn't get a sale again until this month! It almost a full month in between! But everyone kept telling me it was normal. I know its impossible not to stress about it, but you just have to keep busy doing anything and everything in improve and grow your shop as you wait for that next sale! Goodluck!

Etsy has a tendency to ebb and flow. We get so excited when it seems are shops have finally hit an upswing only to be reminded that it's a finicky business we are in. It's funny what you can become accustomed to.

At one time i felt overwhelmed by 2 custom orders at a time, and now I feel like if I don't have 6 lined up that there is something wrong. Don't worry about it. Enjoy the "high" of each sale as it comes. It might take a little while for the next one, or it might not. You just never know when the right buyer might come along.

BlueGrizzle: your shop is so cool! Try adding the word "decoupage" to your tags and a few of your descriptions.

I find that sales come in waves, I will get a heap all at the same time and then nothing for a while......

Don't worry at all - you have done brilliantly as you have only been open a few months - you will get lots more sales, I'm sure!

It is the nature of the beast. Online selling is up and down...it's totally normal.

I know how you feel. I had 9 sales last month, which is massive for me, but nothing so far this April. I was hoping I was going to start making regular sales.... But hey ho!

Yes I feel the same....; my last sale was on 08/04 ( to a colleague) although I have been upgrading my shop and working hard; But it will come.... I hope....:-))))

I was complaining about a dry patch, but then sold 3 items the other day, no more at the moment, but I agree, online sales tend to ebb and flow. I guess, we will have to learn to accept the rise and fall of sales, I know I find this hard too, so I do sympathise
