365 project

After reading this etsy blog post i got inspired to start my own 365 project

He made a skull every day for a year. I thoughed it is a wonderfull idea. At the moment i only have 2 kind of things in my shop that i find good enough to sell here. I needed new inspiration and this just might be the thing.

I decided to make different pop tab items for a year. I expect to learn new skills doing this, perfecting skills and come up with new ideas i might like enough to use for my shop.

Is anybody else doing a 365 project? How do you keep inspired to keep making things?

Good blog, thank you for sharing. For me it is easy to be productive BUT if I do not sell it is very discouraging and I stop creating. I think when you see people are interested in your product it will propel your ingine and you jeep going.

It sound like a good objective to creat one thing a day.

I am making a watercolour painting a day, so far, they've been in a sketchbook but soon they will be in the form of ACEOs that I will sell here as they happen

i would love to do a 365 project..I like your idea susana. I was just thinking earlier of doing ACEO's in the form of prints that i have, i would love to get some acrylics and some more sketchbooks to do some painting. Good luck!

This is SUCH a great idea...reminds me of this semester long project I had in my creative writing class in college..we had a write a poem a day, not matter what, and at the end of the semester we had this book filled with poetry and I swear, they got better as they went along!

This is a GREAT way to get your creative juices flowing. Now what to do......

I read the blog too and was so inspired! I'd like to do something that's completely different from my normal craft, maybe go back to drawing again.. It's been years since I've drawn anything except for the annual Christmas card draw-athon.

I just have become leader of 356 project team on etsty. I hope to find some like minded people to keep eachother motivated and share ideas. Search for 356 day project with etsy teams.

I joined a team that I thought was 1 listing a day for 2012 and it turns out it was 1 listing a week. LOL so it's not really much encouragement since I'm the only one trying to list something a day!

I really like the idea of keeping yourself going. You can only get better and have more interesting and better stuff by creating things!

I agree this is a fabulous idea!

I am doing a one a week project this year for my other shop (WildStrawberriesco) as this is what is manageable for me.

Going to take on the 365 for Glimmers in Time, this thread is a great motivator,looking forward to hearing everyone's success stories here!

I have a tiny etsy shop
I am working on creatin stock for the shop
and I have not sold much yet

I give it some time

I think patience is required

You can also show 365 days how your items develop, if you make things that take more then one day. I find that also fun to watch :)

What an interesting concept. I'm not sure if I could do 1 a day, perhaps showcase 1 a week. What a great incentive to see what you can create!

I am on day 19 now. Sometimes I really love what i make and other days I think I can do better. But the things I do love are already more then the usual number i would make in 19 days. So for the moment it is working for me :)
