1600 sales and counting

I just noticed i had 1600 sales a few days ago, this is so amazing! Business has been slow over the last few months, but its nice to look back and see how long i have come!

GIGGLE.....It has been a slow, hard slog of a year to be fair. However, I have had a rise in sales this week which I am really chuffed about. This year was all about learning and I am glad that I am at least now starting to see orders and requests coming in.

To anyone who will read this - I am fairly new to Etsy, told I have a beautiful well crafted product, but still do not get the sales. I am slightly encouraged by reading what has been written above but still disappointed. I keep trying to grasp and audience. If any of you are willing to take the time to look at my shop and give suggestions, I would appreciate that.

Nancy, I am right there with you! I am getting lots of views but few sales. Folks say they really like the items in my shop, but few buy them. There is a pretty wide price range, from about $10-$100+, so it shouldn't be totally outpriced for people.
Any tips or suggestions would be welcome!

Nancy, that woodsy background is visually very distracting. Can't focus on your items for all the trees, to paraphrase a saying.

That's amazing and very inspiring. I just recently hit my 20th sale and was so stoked about it. I can't even imagine hitting over 1500 sales, though! Congratulations!

1600 is a Good number, but still it isnt enought to make a living out of it! For now it helps me to pay my studio rent and it's pretty good!

Nancy- your titles need work. You need to use phrases that someone would look for. I am pretty sure that no one searches for "fully lined" or "lined with inside pockets". Think like a customer and start typing in the search bar. The most popular searches pop up.

Nancy, I agree about the background. The best photo is the one of the 2 christmas pillows, it shows them in a natural setting but not a distracting one.

Any feedback for my shop? I'm working on redoing some of the photos, lighting for photographing glass is really tough.

I agree with them, having nice and clear pictures really helps to get views on your shop, if the background is too noisy the items gets lost in it and a potential buyer wont even bother to look at it.
