Janie Losee, we are using Facebook and Storewoot for Pinterest. I've had a lot of success with Storewoot. They give you a free 30 day trial for one item, but we had such a good result, that we purchased credits for all of our items on our store. It's fairly inexpensive.

Facebook takes some time to build a community, and you must be diligent in posting at least every other day if not every day - same for Twitter. I used to do social media for the company I work for FT, and had great results with their advertising. However, it's gotten much more costly to advertise on FB these days. But, you if you have even a small budget for it, it's definitely worth trying.

You might also consider Etsy Promoted Listings. It will also cost you, but it's pennies and you can budget it however you like. We budget $2/day and have had success with impressions and clicks. We also appear at the top of the pages for all of our search tags. You want to be listed no more than 3 pages in, if possible, in order to be exposed to buyers.

Ultimately, social media is free. Wherever you can promote your store for free can only help you as long as you are diligent in using it!

I think to be a team player it's great to click and comment in different threads. It used to be a big deal to make treasuries. They still help both you and the other shops you put in them :)

Excuse me ,how can i complaint buyers on the Etsy?!That customer said that my shop shipped his order too later,so he want cancel,but normal my shop ship order in 3-5 days.When I shipped it,it was 4 days,but the customer said it was long time, cancel it, and at that time I already sent it out,he said take it back,so I go to take the package back,and going to refund the money to him,but he said he did not feel comfortable giving me his account so please just ship his order.But I really want cancel it,he not agree,and I really don't want ship it again,I alredy spend too much time&energy on it, the order only 13.7USD,and I not clown,why him do like this again and again?How can I solve the problem?

I am a US seller and I only ship to US so why aren't the people in the US seeing my items the only people seeing my items in search are people in other countries

Sorry it's a few months later, but here is my thoughts. I too have very tight money for advertising. I do all my promotions through my facebook page. Every time I make a new item I post it on there. If there is a day I don't have a new item I put something else on it. I also post on twitter and instagram. All free and has brought in more customers than I thought. But like I said, I do it daily. I also joined about 10 teams (you don't need to do that many). Just make sure their are a lot of people in the teams you join. Posting your stuff in those threads helps a great deal. Just push your product anywhere you can on line that is free. The sales will come. Good luck dear.

Hi everyone! I'm relatively new to Etsy shops and have limited funds to post items on here, which is why I do most of my posting via my Facebook page and my website. I have 10 items listed on Etsy and have had them up since March but hardly anyone goes to my shop. Does anyone have any advice as to how to draw in more customers?

Hi all~ I just started my Etsy shop yesterday, I started a facebook page and am promoting it for about $1.50/day and also invited over 800 people to like the page, but so far no traffic into my shop...Does anyone have any tips for getting customers? Maybe its too early to expect results. I also only have 5 items up but I'm going to add 2-3 more tomorrow, and the next day and so on...

Hi. I'm new and just adding products to my shop. My question is does everyone else get spam messages everytime they list a new item saying buyer has a problem? It's driving me mad.
